The successful applicant will be able to join the Octopus Australiateamon their mission to accelerate Australia'stransition to a future powered by renewable energy.We are looking for an associate / senior associate level energy projects solicitor to support the business through a period of exciting growth.The successful applicant will have energy projects and construction experience in the Australian market.

We are continuing to grow to create a long-term business that can deliver a firmed energy product to meet the evolving needs of Australia's energy future.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for providing legal advice to all aspects of the business.
This will, in conjunction with support from external counsel, include providing advice across the full life cycle of renewable projects from development, construction and asset management to ensure the successful delivery of our renewable energy developments.
This role will report into our Director & General Counsel.QualificationsYou will be an associate / senior associate at a reputable law firm working on grid-scale renewable energy projects.However, we recognise that not everyone fits this mould.Our business has many aspects, such as community licence, environmental and social governance, and indigenous investment.
