Part-time/Permanent Position

Interface is looking for a highly creative and organised Junior Concept Designer based in Surry Hills. You will work in dynamic studio environment and be part of a sustainable global company that are market leaders in the design and manufacturing of modular flooring.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Regular collaboration with the team - assisting in daily administration such as maintaining studio resources (i.e product library updates and processing custom samples).
- Support Studio Manager and Concept Designers in all facets of projects required.
- Support architects, Interior Designers and End users in creating exceptional flooring experiences.
- Taking project from initial brief to completion, managing all aspect of the project and work.
- Creating conceptual floor designs as well as detailed floor plan documentation for install.
- Create 2D and 3D outputs through effective design presentations.
- Presenting to internal and external clients on projects and new product launches.
- Upholds ethics and values and demonstrates integrity and hard work.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the broader organisational departments and functions.

Qualification and Experience:

- Design Degree qualification essential (Textile/Interior Design)
- 1-3 years industry experience in Interior or Textile Design.
- Intermediate computer skills
- 1-year professional experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for colour and good knowledge of interior trends.
- Quick learner with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skill.
- Proactive team member willing to go the extra mile for the team and clients.
- The ability to adapt to any situation and ask questions.
