Job Title: Junior Fashion Designer

We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to support our design team in trend research, garment development, and seasonal range planning.

In this role, you will work closely with designers and garment technicians to create new styles, fabrics, and trims.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Trend research and design concepts across all categories
  • Creation of mood-boards & lookbooks
  • Sketching / CADs in Illustrator
  • Coordination and creation of new styles, fabrics & trims
  • Participation in fit meetings alongside designers and garment technicians
  • Sample room management
  • Support for the retail team with initiatives such as style files

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a junior or assistant designer
  • Tertiary studies in fashion design or a related field
  • A solid understanding of garment construction and fitting experience
  • The ability to sketch/CAD
  • A strong understanding of the fashion industry
  • Advanced Adobe skills
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Strong illustration skills are highly regarded
