**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Application Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group IT Manager you will lead and manage the systemisation and modernisation of planning functions across all businesses in the group. You will need to have a strong project management skills and continual improvement focus on what the needs of the business are next, tasked with scoping and implement those changes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Understand the requirements of the various businesses to identify nuances and variations in requirements.
Work with the different functional areas to systemise and/or modernise the planning functions throughout the businesses across the group.
Work with the group planning teams to develop and optimise existing planning systems and processes.
Create new ways of working with the new systems put in place and embed these into operation.
Working with the functional areas across the group, document and maintain processes and work instructions.
Drive ongoing optimisation across the planning space.
Working with the functional areas across the group ensure planning business logic is up to date.
Standardise functionality and process wherever possible.

**Skills and Experience**:
Tertiary degree in an analytical area.
Strong experience in planning type role.
Experience in systems implementation in a cross-functional environment.
ERP & MRP working knowledge.
SQL experience and advanced data management reporting experience desirable.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Advanced project management skills with a result orientated and stakeholder management focus.
