**The Role**
- Overall responsibility for managing and maintaining the warehouse & distribution processes (inbound/outbound) across all warehouses within the whole business.
- Managing / Leading warehouse staff and the team's performance, including training and development of staff
- Monitor work to ensure all work performed is carried out in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the OH&S Policies and Procedures.
- Manage and control expenses in accordance with the budget set by the company.
- Ensure every customer continuously receive their orders in an efficient and most cost effective way possible.
- Acting as a professional liaison between warehouse operations & key internal customers including customer service and internal staf

**Skills & Experience**:

- Understanding of warehouse and transport management systems, Microsoft Great Plains and MS office experience desirable
- Ability to devise and review and modify operational business process, policy & procedure
- Experience in interpreting profit and loss reports
- Advanced understanding of inventory control
- Knowledge of freight company quotations/ agreements and a solid understanding of road transport rules and regulations, and the handling, storage and transport of dangerous goods
- Ability to coordinate, conduct and reconcile cyclical and major stocktakes
