**WMS Consultant**

Work for a global consultancy firm that specialises in operations strategy. You will be part of a specialised team within our organisation that focuses on optimisation across our industry-leading supply chain solutions.
As a WMS Consultant, you will be focusing on the implementation of an automated Warehouse Management System. This will include functionally designing, technically configuring, integrating, and installing WMS software for our clients, as well as facilitating testing and training for them. You will support live sites with their WMS queries, troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement requirements. Your primary responsibilities will be:

- Lead functional and technical discussions with the client including integrating WMS to ERP and MHE systems.
- Perform the necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues, solution requirements, and related benefits. Aid in preparing and analysing project plans and documentation.
- Work closely with team members to understand client needs and assists the client in the configuration and implementation of the software system.
- Coaching our client's supply chain consultants on Automated WMS's functional capabilities and how to technically configure the software.
- Participation in DC excellence reviews and process design work
- Travel across Australia to the client site for delivery of solutions is required.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent through business experience
- Experience in warehouse operations, WMS super user or WMS implementations, and have the ability to understand warehousing and transport processes.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capability, commercial acumen and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent Microsoft suite software skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

**Prior experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional industry experience.
- Experience working with a major WMS vendor implementing a WMS/ERP i.e. configuration of software, testing and testing support, data collection, documentation, testing, training, go-live support.
