Red Prairie WMS / JDA Dispatcher Support Engineer

Experience Required:
6–10 years (Ideally 10+ years)

We are looking for a highly skilled Configuration Analyst & Developer to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Red Prairie WMS / JDA Dispatcher along with strong PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux, and integration skills.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • 6–10 years as a Configuration Analyst & Developer in Red Prairie WMS / JDA Dispatcher
  • Minimum 2 warehouse or client implementations completed
  • Strong understanding of RP/JDA Dispatcher WMS architecture
  • Expertise in configuring Clustering, Putaway/Allocation Algorithms, RDT rules, Data Programs, Locations, SKU configuration, Merge rules, Purging, Function access, System profile, iReports, and Label design
  • Advanced PL/SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers) with Oracle 11g
  • Proficient in UNIX/Linux (shell scripting, OS commands, directory structures, permissions, file editors)
  • Good knowledge of Middleware technologies (e.g., webMethods)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • JDA Integrator configuration and development
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, HP SM9
  • Full-stack experience with Angular (v15), , Java
  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture
  • Experience with AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS)
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
  • Automated testing tools: Cypress
  • React or React Native

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and create technical design documents
  • Configure RP/JDA Dispatcher WMS as per business needs
  • Customize and develop PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, tables, views
  • Develop UNIX shell scripts for WMS support and customization
  • Implement configuration and code in Development, Testing, and Production environments
  • Perform UNIT, Integration, and UAT testing and support Go-Live activities
  • Engage with high-profile clients and manage challenging business requirements
  • Provide warranty support, bug fixes, and produce deliverables
