OverviewSenior Retail Claims Consultant role at Zurich Australia.
The role involves managing a select portfolio of claims, providing technical support on claims strategies and management, conducting quality assurance reviews, coaching and mentoring claims consultants, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage a select portfolio of claims and provide technical support on claims strategies and management.Conduct quality assurance reviews and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Coach and mentor claims consultants and develop the team\'s skills and capabilities.Drive continuous improvement and process enhancements and uphold Zurich\'s claim philosophy.QualificationsProven experience as a Senior Claims Consultant in Life Insurance (or a high-performing claims consultant) managing end-to-end retail insurance claims, including Income Protection, Total & Permanent Disability, and Trauma.Expertise in managing multiple policies and customers, resolving complaints, and reviewing disputed claim decisions.Strong understanding of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice) and the Insurance Contracts Act.Proven experience in coaching and mentoring Claims Consultants.Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.DFP/ANZIIF qualifications preferred, but not essential.Belong.
