We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Information Security Consultant to support Infoxchange's mission of Technology for Social Justice.
This part-time (3 days per week), permanent role is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

About The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Security Consultant, preferably from the Not-for-Profit sector, to lead our information security program for customers and partners.
You Will
Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of security standards for our Managed Services offerings, including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Conduct security assessments and support customers during external audits.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures organization-wide.
Stay updated on security trends, technologies, and best practices.
Demonstrate a strong desire to learn, innovate, and improve continuously.
About You
To succeed, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience in information security, with knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ASD's Essential 8, ISO 27001/2, NIST, and RFFR.
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking under pressure.
Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and negotiation skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
