**Role**
For the first time in almost a decade, the important position of General Manager, Teaching and Learning has become available at Kaplan Professional - one of the most trusted and client-focused education providers in Australia whose courses and programs are ubiquitous throughout the financial services sector. As the leader of Kaplan Professional's experienced and talented academic team, the GM of Teaching and Learning will oversee and guide the design, development and delivery of the exciting new products that form the core of Kaplan Professional's strategic ambitions which include even further global expansion.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of industry-focused programs
- Recruit and retain a growing faculty of educators, designers and support staff
- Proactively address metrics of student success such as progression and attrition
- Implement initiatives that preserve and strengthen student and client satisfaction
- Advocate and enforce quality assurance systems and protocols

**Requirements**:

- Master's-level qualification related to finance, education or a similar field
- Experience as a practitioner within the financial services sector
- Management experience within an institute of higher education
- Track record of innovative curriculum design and progressive delivery
- A passion for the provision of evidence-based education and student experiences
