**Role Overview**

- As the Product Portfolio Lead for Retirement and Advice, your role is pivotal in shaping our product portfolio to meet the diverse needs of our clients in the retirement planning and advisory space. You will define the product vision, set strategic direction, and execute successful go-to-market plans for our suite of retirement-focused offerings across digital engagement, retirement tools and products, advice services and advice technology, designed to enhance retirement outcomes and contribute to the growth of the Retirement Solutions business. Your leadership will play a key role in driving innovation, fostering collaboration across teams, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional solutions that contribute to the financial well-being of our clients' members.

**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Define and communicate the strategic direction of our retirement products, advice technology and related services product portfolio, informed by market analysis and trends, client needs, and Retirement Solutions business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge and address evolving client demands in the retirement planning and retirement income landscape, while aligning with Retirement Solutions broader business strategy.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services that meet client needs and regulatory requirements in the retirement and advisory space.
- Collaborate closely with product development, design, marketing, and customer support teams to translate member needs into actionable product strategies, roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
- Drive revenue growth through the optimization of product offerings, pricing strategies, and distribution channels within the retirement and advice portfolio.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans and promotional campaigns that drive product adoption and revenue generation.
- Monitor product performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and client engagement, and take proactive measures to address any areas of underperformance.
- Develop and manage capital budgets for product development initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Monitor capital expenditure against budgetary targets and adjust plans as needed to optimize resource utilization and drive profitability.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, representing Link Retirement and Advice Solutions' product portfolio and strategic direction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to product managers and their respective teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members, empowering them to develop their skills and contribute effectively to the success of the product portfolio.
- Establish governance frameworks and processes to facilitate effective decision-making, risk management, and compliance within the product portfolio.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of products that meet quality standards and member expectations.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading product development initiatives from ideation to launch, preferably in a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, client feedback, and financial metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

**Preferred**
- Experience in the retirement planning or wealth management industry, with a good understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of financial products and services, including retirement accounts, investment vehicles, and tax implications.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Passion for driving positive outcomes for clients and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and services in the retirement and advisory space.
