We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Accounting Policy to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business. You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Group's accounting policies and frameworks in specific subject matter expert areas.
Advise on appropriate accounting treatments for proposed transactions in accordance with your business unit-aligned and/or subject matter expert aligned focus areas.
Support the Group in understanding and implementation of accounting standard changes.
Requirements:
Tertiary degree in business or commerce.
Relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA).
Extensive experience within a technical accounting role.
Experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business.
Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
