The staff are supported through extensive professional development and coaching in these key areas. Aveley SC\'s collaborative approach to pedagogy has been recognised as best practice through the Grattan Institute, and teaching staff have been filmed by the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) as examples of best practice. A central feature of the college is strong teams with an extensive repertoire of curriculum resources. As alumni of the Fogarty EDvance program, the school has visitors from across the state and country visiting our classrooms to see our teachers in action. Our teachers are our best asset.
