**The Role**

Using Level 1/2 skills and a strong sense of customer service, you will be part of a team that delivers IT support to around 1000 users.

Unlike a lot of roles in this space, the most important aspect of the role is the customer service skills. We are looking for a natural communicator who wants to engage with the customer first, and then solve the technical issue once rapport has been built. the CST role is looking for those who are pro active and not only deal with inbound calls but want to engage on a personal level with those in the building.

They work with a lot of different technology, most of which will be taught to you if you don't know it. The following is ideal though:
Required:

- IT troubleshooting skills to effectively triage calls
- Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Previous IT support experience
- Excellent verbal (polite, clear) and written (concise) communication skills
- Customer focus and service orientation
- Excellent phone manner
- Commitment to achieving quality outcomes
- Understand the importance of updating stakeholders
- Display a positive attitude
- Willingness to assist and to do so enthusiastically
- Dedicated to providing quality service
- Team focus
- Pro-active and a 'sense of urgency'
- Proficient PC user

Desired, but not essential: Experience with;

- Terminal Server

- VPN
