About the Role
As Café Manager, you'll take full ownership of daily operations and play a critical leadership role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and motivating both front and back of house teams
Ensuring outstanding customer service and hospitality
Overseeing coffee and food presentation standards
Barista duties and coffee quality control
Rostering and scheduling to meet business needs
Ordering and receiving goods, managing stock levels
Monitoring costs, wastage, and supplier relationships
Recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff
Maintaining compliance with food safety and WHS standards
Coordinating with ownership on business improvements and promotions
Who You Are
We're looking for a hospitality professional with a passion for coffee and leadership.
The ideal candidate will have
Strong barista skills and understanding of specialty coffee
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Proven ability to lead a team and foster a positive workplace culture
Strong organisational skills with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail
Experience with ordering, inventory, cost control, and shift scheduling
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices
Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trade periods
Full working rights in Australia – 494 visa sponsorship as Cafe Manager available for the right candidate
