We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Specialist to join our team at the Allen's Broadford Factory.

In this role, the Process Specialist will provide technical leadership for the entire manufacturing process, in order to produce the maximum volume of high-quality product at the lowest cost & shortest time by identifying, leading, developing & executing solutions for quality and performance improvements. This position serves as the primary technical resource for manufacturing leadership and is responsible for driving strategic productivity & capacity solutions.

**A day in the life**

Reporting to the Manufacturing Excellence Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support on materials, processes, equipment & consumer complaints to the factory. Provide operating parameters (basic conditions) for process optimisation.
- Coach employees to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through a NCE/TPM approach, specifically in problem solving tools such as GSTD, DMAIC.
- Identify opportunities to improve the productivity of existing systems using different NCE tools & techniques such as DMAIC, SMED, GSTD, VMS.
- Develop and maintain system capacity & conduct capability studies in order to ensure optimal production rates, parameters & formulas
- Improve system reliability (in conjunction with maintenance) and product quality (in conjunction with Quality Assurance) to identify productivity improvements.
- Use process knowledge to ensure that existing product quality & processes are maintained in conjunction with the Product Applications Team to ensure new products are implemented at the factory optimally.

- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Food Science or related field with at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing/processes.
- Solution focused and pro-active attitude and high attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
- The right person must be methodical, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.
- You are a problem solver, proactive and strong in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and/or issues.
