Process Improvement Specialist

The role of Process Improvement Specialist involves undertaking a comprehensive desktop audit across all departments to identify areas for improvement and inefficiencies.
- The successful candidate will conduct workshops with staff to understand and produce end-to-end current state process maps, while building the future state requirements.
- They will facilitate the implementation of organisational process governance, capture and document Council Processes in a central shared repository, and provide guidance and advice into policy and procedures based on outcomes of business improvement initiatives.
- The Process Improvement Specialist will assist with software procurement processes if applicable and liaise with vendors/suppliers.
- They will develop a program of work to capture, design and improve organisational processes, assist with and deliver key improvement opportunities as directed.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills are required, particularly in providing expert and high-quality advice and recommendations to senior management, facilitating continuous improvement workshops, and engaging staff with process and task analysis.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in training/coaching business process improvement tools and methodologies. We encourage applications from individuals who require adjustments to be made during the recruitment process.
