**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team based out of our **Dandenong** branch. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, this role will see you providing quality diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment in the field.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi earthmoving equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
- Ensure your work sites are kept tidy, and all paperwork is up to date
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Relevant Trade Qualification - Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
- Earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
