Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join ServiceStream in our Southeast Water project team, based in Dandenong South.
About the Role

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Dandenong, Vic

Reporting Line: Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical/Electrical Manager, Southeast Water

Key Responsibilities
- Lead with safety front of mind and be an advocate for our values Delivery, People and Accountability
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on various water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure assets are performing at their best
- Perform Wastewater, Water Construction and Maintenance tasks
- Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications
- Attend and actively participate in team and toolbox meetings
- Lead or assist in the completion of a job through the mobile field computing system
- Installation and augmentation of major assets/ plant/ installations
- Maintenance job compliance and ensuring processes and procedures are followed to maintain a safe workplace
- Ability to work on - call hours

About You

Experience with mechanical maintenance in the water industry, petrochem or food industry. You have excellent problem-solving skills, and you are known to provide solutions to technical issues efficiently and effectively. Ability to work autonomously and a part of a team.

You will also have:

- Fitter trade qualifications and relevant practical experience
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
- Construction Card (White Card)
- Confined space
- Current Drivers Licence
- MR licence (preferred)
- Working at Heights
- First Aid
- Dogman (preferred)
