As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Technician to support their commitment to excellence in every step of our production process.
As the Maintenance Technician you will manage and implement the service and repair of processing equipment used at APPC, diagnosing operational problems and implementing appropriate solutions in an efficient manner taking into account safety, quality and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all machinery involved in processing operations is fit for service and able to work with minimal downtime
Repair or arrange for the repair of mechanical parts of all machinery in conjunction with the approval of the maintenance manager
Identify and advise the Maintenance Manager of any impending problems that could affect efficiency of processing / production.
Implement maintenance program as set by the Maintenance manager for all machinery used in operations
Work in conjunction with other employees, contractors and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
About You:
Proficiency in Welding, MIG, TIG, Arc & Oxy
Hydraulic knowledge
Diagnostic Skills
Previous Experience in the repair and maintenance industry
Trade Certificate or relevant experience
