Electrical Technician Job Role

This is a site-based position with a 7:7 drive-in drive-out roster. As an electrical technician, you will be responsible for maintaining plant availability by carrying out maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine inspections and recommend preventative maintenance routines.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis to resolve reliability issues.
  • Solve complex problems using fault-finding abilities and continually assess the process, equipment, and procedures.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must have an Electrical Trade certificate and a current WA 'A' Grade Electrical License.
  • Hold high risk work licenses, EWP, and Working at Heights certifications.
  • Display strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as good numerical, literacy, and computer skills.
  • Utilize a high level of fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
