Join a mid-sized machinery and equipment manufacturing company and support their Senior Design Engineer with Solidworks design and modelling projects.The 12-week internship in Solidworks Design Engineering involves hands-on engineering design work incorporating automation and robotics supporting the production and delivery of machinery and ancillary equipment.
Ideally, you will have strong skills in Solidworks design engineering to succeed in the internship.
Solidworks Design Engineering Internship Roles and Responsibilities: Designing machinery and allied industrial equipment using SolidworksTechnical support and helping draft and edit P&ID using software such as Lucidchart and EdrawMaxPerforming design reviews and risk assessments with senior engineers and production managers, and providing on-site workshop assistanceLiaising with clients and presenting final designs for reviewPerforming simulations and coordinating QA and testing activities What you will learn during your Solidworks Design Engineering Internship?
