We're looking for an ETD & PB Client Middle Office (CMO) Specialist to:
• Provide excellent client service to ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives) and Prime Brokerage (PB) clients by monitoring, investigating, and responding to client queries related to day-to-day issues
• Participate in various local client visits, regulatory meetings with the local exchange (ASX) on industry projects and initiatives
• Perform and review daily and monthly client money reconciliations for futures and exchange traded options
• Work closely with various internal teams such as collateral and margin, settlements, CAIP, offshore and regional ops teams to resolve any client breaks or issues.
• Respond to various audit requests both internally and externally and facilitate any client audit requests to the correct internal audit teams
• Act as the point of contact between clients and our technical support and development team
• Identify and recommend ways to improve processes, reduce risks, strengthen controls
• Commit to a culture of continuous improvement centered on client service
• Deliver on various firm and industry wide project and initiativesYour teamYou'll be working in the Client Middle Office (CMO) team in Sydney.
We work closely with front to back office colleagues globally to manage internal and external client queries, trade allocations, confirmation exceptions and client money reconciliations.
Our key objective is to deliver excellent client services with continuous improvement on process efficiency and risk controlYour expertise
• Previous client services experience, within the financial services industry
• Passion for dealing with clients, strong numerical skills and an understanding of ETD and PB products
• Great communicator, able to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels
• Comfortable working with internal and external clients and stakeholders
• Proven ability to improve processes, reduce risks or increase customer satisfaction
• Have great attention to detail and can work well under pressure
• Have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EUAs
• Self-motivated and driven
