Your role will focus on the core civil engineering discipline, associated with roadworks, stormwater drainage & flooding, earthworks, pavements, water and sewerage infrastructure for key clients across Defence, Transport, Water Resources, Urban Development, Health, Mining and Resource industries.
How you'll make a difference:Understanding of urban development principles, particularly related to site planning and servicingAbility to work across multiple, interrelated disciplines such as infrastructure layout, earthworks design, pavements, and stormwater drainageFamiliarity with site grading and level designBasic knowledge of sewer and water reticulationExposure to or willingness to learn civil design software (e.g. Civil 3D, 12d, AutoCAD)Understanding of construction documentation and civil deliverables (plans, specifications, schedules)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering judgement to real-world design constraintsComfortable collaborating with other disciplines (structural, architectural, geotechnical)Effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and design reportingAs you progress through our recruitment process, you'll have the opportunity to select your preferred discipline and location, along with second and third choices.
To be considered for this role, please choose either "Civil - Water" or "Civil - Infrastructure (Hwys)" as your first preferred discipline.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering.Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026.
