What you'll be doing

  • Work on smaller projects or sections of larger projects, with the chance to build responsibility as your skills develop.
  • Apply engineering principles and standard techniques to help solve real-world problems.
  • Assist senior engineers with analysis, designs, and calculations.
  • Prepare structural calculations and technical analysis of building and infrastructure projects.
  • Contribute to specifications, fee proposals, reports, and project documentation under close supervision.
  • Liaise with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues, supported by experienced senior engineers.

Who we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Graduate membership (or working towards) with Engineers Australia.
  • 0–3 years of engineering experience.
  • Basic understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges through analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
