What you'll be doing
- Work on smaller projects or sections of larger projects, with the chance to build responsibility as your skills develop.
- Apply engineering principles and standard techniques to help solve real-world problems.
- Assist senior engineers with analysis, designs, and calculations.
- Prepare structural calculations and technical analysis of building and infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to specifications, fee proposals, reports, and project documentation under close supervision.
- Liaise with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues, supported by experienced senior engineers.
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Graduate membership (or working towards) with Engineers Australia.
- 0–3 years of engineering experience.
- Basic understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges through analysis and interpretation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
