About the Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to refine your craft in a prestigious kitchen.
As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and executing high-quality desserts, you will manage your station efficiently, ensure consistency and uphold food safety protocols.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:Demonstrated at least 1 year experience as a Pastry Chef in an à la carte restaurantItalian cuisine experience is highly regardedDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a teamDemonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in day-to-day operationsUnderstanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and complianceExperience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown and handover to standardUse correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu itemsExcellent attention to detailOutstanding time management during preparation and service periodsCalm and composed demeanorAvailable to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidaysQualification in Patisserie, Commercial Cookery or equivalent
