About the team and role

Group Financial Crime Risk is responsible for delivering an overarching framework to manage the risk of financial crime, which includes advice and oversight across the Group, coupled with detection and intelligence led / data driven decision making within the function. The risk types managed by the function include Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF), Sanctions, Fraud and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

The AML/CTF & Sanctions Investigator is fast paced and requires the incumbent to shift between tasks and areas of focus throughout the day. They need to display a high level of operational performance and be dynamic in their role, with a focus on cross-skilling, continuous improvement and teamwork, whilst displaying a growth mindset.

You'll be part of established close-knit team, with great culture, reputation and expertise. With structured training, ability to gain exposure to broad range of stakeholders and investigations.

We have 2 full-time positions available - 1 x parament & 1x 12-month secondment.

Experience, skills and capabilities

A sound understanding of the Banking and Finance sector and an understanding of risk management (i.e., Group Operational Risk Frameworks etc.).
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders
Have a working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions encompassing banking, managed funds etc.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage varied workloads, priorities and pressures.
Attention to detail, accuracy and investigative mindset
Capable of being self-managed and working under mínimal supervision to deliver quality results
