An exciting opportunity exists to participate in a Financial Crime Compliance team as an AML Investigations Analyst.

The role will involve conducting transaction monitoring and analysis, delegating matters to form suspicions on financial crime, and preparing and submitting Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to the relevant authority.

Responsibilities
  • Review and investigate referred cases, escalating high-risk matters where necessary
  • Input and update SMRs in the online database
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the SMR database
Requirements
  • Prior experience in writing SMRs is required
Key Requirements
  • A strong understanding of financial crime and compliance regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Additional Information

This contract position is available for 6 months initially. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney CBD and will work 3 days per week from the office.
