Advanced Buildings are an established construction and restoration business with offices Nationally in VIC, NSW, the ACT and QLD. We are one of Australia's most trusted and experienced Insurance Building and Repair providers and we specialise in Insurance Repair and Strata work involving large and technical projects. We have long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.

We are currently looking for a Major Complex Works Divisional Manager to join the NSW Team. Reporting to the State Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that competitive and timely tenders are submitted, that work undertaken by the MCW team is conducted in a professional and cost-effective manner and ensure that work is performed in a safe legislative focused manner.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Be a senior leader in our business, provide support, guidance, advice across divisions, branches and states
- Provide strategic direction for MCW jobs across cost plus and fixed price works
- Assist, train, mentor project managers to plan, develop and execute timely completion of projects within budget
- Complete performance reviews & one on ones with staff in MCW team & identify training deficiencies
- Market and liaise with clients with the view to obtaining work
- Departmental reporting to the relevant stakeholders
- Manage OH&S matters in keeping with legislative, contractual and company requirements
- Produce detailed scopes of work and cost estimates as required

**As the ideal applicant you will possess**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management OR a Trade background combined with significant relevant MCW experience.
- Experience in the insurance building industry
- Minimum 10-15 years commercial construction experience
- Must be able to problem solve, be an analytical and strategic thinker and be a great communicator
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationships management skills
- A 'can do' energetic attitude and action-oriented approach
