JETS Transport Express is the premium road transport provider to the aviation industry. Reporting to the Manager JETS Transport Express, the Supervisor VIC Operations is crucial for the day-to-day management of staff and operations to ensure freight flows through our network without incident.

As the Supervisor of VIC Operations, you will:

- Conduct toolbox meetings on a daily basis
- Coordinate staff to ensure the delivery and collection of local freight
- Plan and organise the loading / unloading of linehaul trucks
- Liaise with customers on daily booking requests and adhoc queries
- Lead a safety culture, including the management of fatigue

You'll have:

- Operational experience in a similar industry (e.g. Aviation, transport, rail, mining)
- A valid HC and Forklift licence (or in the process of obtaining)
- A good & safe driving record with a minimum 2 years' experience with driving
- Demonstrated commitment to managing a safe workplace
- Experience leading a shift
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
- Customer focused
- High level of personal presentation and behaviour
- Commitment to teamwork, innovative and proactive style
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating shift roster
- Safety as your number one priority
- Ability to meet the requirements for an ASIC security clearance, pre-employment medical assessment, and drug and alcohol test
