About the Location

About the Role
As Senior Cook, you will be responsible for the quality production of meals and food services to the village as well as ensuring that the kitchen, service and dining room facilities are cleaned and sanitised.
This is a part time & position, 24 hours per week.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure the quality and flavour of food are always maintained to the highest standard
Ensure the kitchen is stocked with produce required to provide a full catering service and that wastage is maintained at a minimum
At all times ensure proper and safe use of all materials, consumables and equipment
Show absolute care and empathy towards the needs of our residents, communicate with genuine care and build positive relationships
About You
The Senior Cook is responsible for the quality production and serving similar buffet home-style quality meals and food services to our residents at Ingenia Melton Gardens. The ideal applicant has great customer service skills, ability to work unsupervised and must have friendly & caring disposition. Excellent award rates apply.
