Arch Disability Pty Ltd is a thriving business committed to providing exceptional NDIS services and ensuring that all clients receive the quality care they deserve. As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced and qualified staff to join our dynamic and highly skilled team.

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers to provide 1:1 support to our NDIS participant residing in the IPSWICH QLD Area. The participant requires assistance with daily activities such as getting to and from day programs, personal care, meal preparation, household chores, and community involvement. If you are a compassionate individual with a positive attitude, patience, and an empathetic nature, this could be the ideal role for you.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and experience:

- A Certificate 3 in Mental Health or Disability Support Services/Age Care
- A minimum of 6 months' experience supporting people with disabilities
- An Employment Working with Children's Check, or in the process of obtaining one
- Experience in SIL & STA environments is an advantage
- A car and driver's license
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain one
- Two to three relevant, professional, and industry-related reference checks
- A valid, or in the process of obtaining, First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Willingness to travel to the IPSWICH QLD Area
- A Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Availability to work on a roster for Mon, Wed, and Friday 9-11/12 pm, Friday evenings 7-8 pm, and every 2nd Tuesday.
- Male support worker preferred

Additional qualifications and experiences that would be advantageous include Mental Health experience, experience with wheelchair-bound clients, and medication administration.
