**Role Summary**

Reporting directly to the CEO of Australia & New Zealand, the Transportation Market Lead will hold a pivotal position in spearheading revenue generation, formulating market strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the Transportation sector.

As an integral member of the AtkinsRéalis ANZ Senior Leadership Team, the Transportation Market Lead will oversee various aspects of business operations and financial performance to ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and legislation. Key responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to:

- Contribute to the overall market strategy and execution of the annual business plan.
- Identify and manage portfolio risks, and properly escalate and report to CEO any key decisions.
- Delivery of market revenue, profit and practice demand in line with or exceeding agreed budgets.
- Ensure an appropriate regime of project reviews within the market based on risk.
- Oversee business development and successful bidding to create a sustainable pipeline of work.
- Lead and own our market proposition and thought leadership, in conjunction with our Win Work teams.
- Provide leadership, management and engineering/technical guidance to the Transportation team and its staff.
- Ensure Bid processes are executed according to the AtkinsRéalis processes, including Service Delivery Process and other governance.
- Manage financial performance of projects in your portfolio, including P&L accountability.

**Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities**
- Bachelor's degree in field of practice. Post graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA desirable.
- Specific construction / contractor experience in the delivery of infrastructure for Transportation projects.
- Strategic thinker with business acumen and project finance oversight.
- Self-starter requiring limited oversight reporting to Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Proven ability to manage individuals and teams, provide leadership, and manage project production.
- Highly skilled at promoting the firm and negotiating advantageous contracts.
- Must have business vision, excellent communication skills, and be able to represent the company effectively to clients, key public officials, and the community in general.
