Our client is seeking a highly motivated major account manager to join their dynamic team. This position requires an experienced professional with experience in the waste industry and a proven track record in managing and growing key customer accounts.

This role will report directly to the GM and is based mainly on the road (visiting clients). This role also involves interstate travel up to 1 time per 2 months.

**The major responsibilities will include**:

- Developing and executing account plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Monitoring and reporting on market trends, competition, and customer feedback.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues.
- Site Visits and safety plan management.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Account management experience
- An understanding of the waste industry
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
