Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team, located throughout SE Melbourne.
- 47-year-old female participant.
- Frankston location.
- Psychosocial disability, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) anxiety and panic attacks diagnosis.
- Female support workers preferred.
- Seeking someone that is reliable, able to motivate but with a calm and gentle approach. Someone with similar interests.
- Tasks include: assisting to increase social and community participation, increasing capacity to build a daily routine, assistance setting up an online shop for clothes (highly favourable), emotional regulation, improve communication skills and companionship.
- Participant interests: Arts/crafts, handcrafts, sewing, fashion design, handmaking jewellery.
- Subject to meet and greet.
We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.
**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
