**WeKare Disability Services** is seeking to employ a mature Female Disability Support Worker skilled in **catheter care, active nights, manual handling and other personal care tasks**, for the ongoing support (primarily) of a specific female participant in Cranbourne VIC. The participant will accept female support workers. WeKare has available ongoing work with additional participants, if additional hours are required by the applicant.

**WeKare** is an organisation committed to delivering reliable and high-quality services and supports to NDIS participants. We offer a variety of services to disabled persons to improve their quality of life and aid in achieving the best possible outcomes for every client.

A high level of competency, initiative reliability and autonomy is required for this position.

The position is casual and ongoing with some flexibility in hours.

Mandatory Qualifications are required for this role

1. Cert III, IV in Disability or Aged Care Services

2. National/International Police Check

3. Working With Children Check

4. NDIS Screening Check

5. First Aid Certificate (incl. resuscitation)

6. Valid Driver's License and Access to an insured vehicle.

7. Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination status.

8. Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate.

The position requires the responsible delivery of a variety of support services such as; community participation and access, monitoring behaviour and the administration of medication.

Additional training may be provided by WeKare, as required, to meet participant needs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $35.15 - $43.23 per hour
