**Job description**

**About Role**:
We are currently seeking to fill casual role for a support worker to assist our clients. The successful applicant will have previous experience supporting people with disability and able to complement our client's life styles and be able to work alongside the families and our team. The role will involve home support and supporting the client to achiebve their goals. _**Due to the preferences of the client, Vietnamese-speaking Support Workers are encouraged to apply.**_

We value team members who can combine their skills and experience in providing quality supports with their ability to work collaboratively and deliver supports that are customer focused.

**Role Requirements**:

- Excellent English and **Vietnamese **communication skills
- Certificate III in Disability / Aged or Individual Support
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Blue Card/Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Current drivers' license
- Your own fully insured vehicle
- Living Locally in Ipswich or close surrounding suburb.
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Able to undertake role requirements

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.99 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Vietnamese (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Workers Screening/Blue Card (preferred)

Work Location: In person
