Manager, Cabinet, Legislation And Liaison Officer

**Specific role requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Cabinet and parliament
- There will be operational requirements to work outside usual work hours at times due to the nature of the work.
Your contribution and key responsibilities:
- Provide Cabinet, Legislation and Liaison and Executive services to the Minister, Director-General, Ministerial advisors and senior departmental officers.
- Analyse and coordinate executive government information and business.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with the Office of the Minister, across Government through the CLLO network and within the department to facilitate the coordination and implementation of Cabinet, Parliamentary and Executive Council processes
- Ensure effective and efficient forward planning and prioritising for the effective coordination of the department's Cabinet, Parliamentary, Executive Council and legislative program
- Provide high level advice on the development of Cabinet, Parliamentary and Executive Council documents.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a wide range of people including the Director-General, Ministerial advisors, senior departmental officers and officers from across government.
- Provide leadership and create a work environment that encourages and empowers individual staff to seek challenges, develop skills and achieve results
- Maintain a high level of expertise in Cabinet and Parliamentary protocols including knowledge of the Queensland Cabinet Handbook, legislative processes and whole of-Government and departmental policies to ensure compliance.
