We are currently looking for a talented **Senior Concept Artist** to join our creative development team

**Employment period**: ASAP Start
**Location**: Adelaide, Australia. This position is open to Australian and international applicants. Visa and relocation assistance provided where applicable.

**Position Overview**
Successful applicants will have years of experience as a feature film concept artist, and your portfolio will extensively showcasing concept art for live-action work. Working closely with the Art Director, you will be required to create detailed concept art that will be used to aid in the development of characters, props, environments, lighting and/or world class visual effects.

**Responsibilities**
- Create and deliver concept art; including but not limited to character, props, environment, lighting, and visual effects.
- Tightly adhere to production schedule and deliver to key milestones, presenting your work-in-progress daily.
- Work closely with the Art Director as necessary in order to meet brief objectives.
- Be flexible, and adapt your work as the brief evolves.
- Work in a manner that allows other team members to pick up your work if necessary.
- Contribute to creative and technical conversations, with a view to raising the quality level of the final image.
- Manage your workload. Advise your lead of any obstacles which may affect delivery quality, timeliness or budget.
- Promote a collaborative and enjoyable workplace influencing morale, fostering purposeful discussions and a positive work ethic.

**Required skills and experience**
- Experience with Photoshop essential.
- Proven ability to carry an idea from rough sketch to finished illustration.
- Superb eye for detail, with a deep understanding of colour, light, staging and composition.
- Ability to tackle multiple areas of design including but not limited to character, assets, and visual effects.
- Experience with creating orthographics for characters, and assets.
- Ability to remain calm and in control under pressure.
- Preferably experienced working in feature film / visual effects.
- Preferably experienced in a facility working with a departmental structure.
- Knowledge of Shotgun a plus.
