Our mission is to help financial intermediaries & investors leverage our knowledge & expertise, and to equip them with the tools & insights they need to deliver high quality investment solutions.We are recruiting a **Marketing & Events Coordinator **to join our **Sydney **team on a full-time permanent basis.
The Events and Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Public Relations and the broader Marketing division. To assist in the planning of a full year of corporate events and conferences (both live and virtual) involving key staff and Lonsec's clients and prospects, this includes liaising with Lonsec's key partners in relation to Lonsec's involvement and Marketing requirements for their events.
This role will be responsible for the logistics, planning and execution of the Lonsec event schedule as well as oversee the organisation of the industry events Lonsec holds each year. These include the seminars, roadshows, webinars, tradeshows, keynote speaking positions, panellist opportunities, podcast guests and the main Lonsec event, the Lonsec Symposium and Lonsec award ceremonies. The Coordinator will liaise closely with the management of each business division under the Lonsec umbrella, as well as external clients.
The role also includes a variety of marketing related responsibilities which include, social media, promotional material including eDM and PowerPoint, basic content creation and post event follow up.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Supplier coordination: Liaise with suppliers to organise venues, catering, audiovisual, speakers, and accommodation for events in advance.
- Marketing collaboration: Work with the marketing team to plan and execute effective strategies for promoting events to the target audience.
- Events scheduling: Create and maintain a comprehensive annual events calendar, covering educational events, webinars, workshops, and more for the Lonsec Group.
Prerequisite Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years Event Coordination experience.
- Financial services background is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills.
- Effective time management.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills for handling queries from various stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with autonomy. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software, including GoToWebinar, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
