Our client are a sizeable national Height Safety business. They offer various products and services which are catered for the Construction, Property, Mining sectors. They like to hire passionate people and are motivated and driven to really own their role and buy into the vision of the business. They are looking to hire a Sales BDM who has experience ideally selling to Facilities and Building Managers to join the business and help them expand into Perth.

**YOUR NEXT ROLE**:
You will be tasked with developing new business leads for the company. A large portion of your role will be out on the road building relationships, cold calling clients, managing expectations, quoting and pricing, working with the national estimation team on tendering and bidding for works on a range of projects, seeking out opportunities for the business in your region. This role will involve sales into Retrofit Construction Market, Facilities and Mining sectors..

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience in selling Height Safety Products and / or Certification Services
- Experience achieving or overachieving sales targets
- Experience with new business development as well as account management
- You will have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills and positive personality
- Hunger to be successful
- Capable at using MS Excel
- Full work rights
- Drivers License

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Networks ideally with commercial builders, mining operators, facilities management, councils, builders, contractors, HVAC, building services, passive or active fire, roofing, carpentry etc.
- A trade background would be advantageous but not essential.
- Exposure to a form of design software (such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam) and estimating systems (such as Bidcontender or Estimateone)
