Your Opportunity:Join our team as an Allied Health Assistant supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality care in Residential Aged Care settings.

You'll assist in delivering evidence-based care through mobility and functional activities, one-on-one sessions, group-based active ageing programs, and care plan follow-ups.You will be responsible for:Assisting in delivering all physiotherapy services in accordance with Plena Healthcare's operating procedures and policies.Servicing RAC clients according to the Allied Health Professionals treatment plan.Transporting residents to and from the therapy gym area or their appointments under the direction of physiotherapists/occupational therapists.Setting up and packing away the physiotherapy gym, including cleaning the area and equipment.Collecting referrals and performing administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists.Ordering prescribed equipment.Running exercise groups or programs.Supporting initiatives to meet client and contract expectations.Consulting with physiotherapists/occupational therapists regarding adaptations, changes, or progressions of treatment plans for clients as appropriate.Participating in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals in line with Plena Healthcare's policies and procedures.Your Career with Plena:Plena Healthcare values a genuine work/life balance with flexible working arrangements.
