Production Operators Our client, a leader within the supply of timber floor trusses to the construction industry currently have multiple positions available due to an increase in demand.
Our ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in a similar position, a safety-conscious approach to tasks, knowledge of timber/bulk goods logistics, warehouse operations, and order picking in the construction industry.
Duties will include: Picking, cutting, checking, wrapping, and labelling of orders as directed by the Site Supervisor in accordance with company procedures.
General housekeeping duties as required.
Forklift duties as required.
Chain saw and other fixed plant machinery duties.
Participation in stocktakes and cycle counts.
Compliance with all work instructions, procedures, and policies.
Recording and actioning damaged stock in line with company procedures.
Reporting equipment faults promptly and tagging out unsafe equipment.
Other duties as advised by the Production Supervisor.
Essential Selection Criteria: Minimum 2-years experience in a similar role.
Experience operating a forklift and side loader.
Previous experience using hand tools.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
High attention to detail with an aptitude for safety.
Desired Selection Criteria: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
A commitment to ongoing learning and training development Previous experience in a similar industry (timber/construction highly desirable) Previous experience with quality control and data recording.
We are looking at these roles commencing immediately.
Al successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
