**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Located in the Melbourne CBD, this permanent full-time Commercial Business Manager role provides leadership and accountability of all commercial activities, including formulation, negotiation and ongoing management of all facility and retail related commercial contracts.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Supporting the General Manager in identifying revenue growth and commercial opportunities
- Managing and meeting the expectations of key stakeholders via a structured account management approach
- Negotiating and managing commercial contracts related to facility and retail operations
- Evaluating the financial and operational impacts of service contracts and providing accurate and timely advice to assist with key business decisions
- Managing service provider performance
- Supporting the General Manager in relation to contractual aspects of Facility Management, Security and Customer Services
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of the commercial operations.
- Optimising resource use, cost containment, the maintenance of quality standards and the mitigation of risk in the execution of all commercial activities
- Ensuring all current and future financial objectives are met

**ABOUT YOU**
- Qualifications in Business or Finance
- Demonstrated experience with strategic commercial activities
- Exposure to operational and commercial risk management within a retail environment or a multifunctional facility desirable
- Experience in contract management around multi-aspect facilities or projects, and the ability to manage contractual negotiations with multiple service providers within a KPI environment
- Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects (preferably projects that involved construction or infrastructure development and multiple stakeholders, including a government agency)
- High level negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, business cases and tenders
- Demonstrated budget management skills, including operational finance with a focus on the ability to manage costs
