Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services.
Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work.
We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.About the Role:The Head of FP&A is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Forensicare.
As the 2IC to the CFO, this role provides high-level financial advice, supports executive decision-making, and ensures financial strategies are aligned with organisational objectives.Duties:Lead the development and implementation of a rolling three-year operating budget aligned with Forensicare's strategic goalsPartner with executive and senior leaders to provide financial advice that supports sound decision-makingAnalyse financial implications of service changes and external funding shifts, identifying associated risks and opportunitiesPrepare and appraise complex business cases, CAPEX proposals, and strategic investment optionsDeliver financial modelling and scenario analysis to support long-term planning and sustainabilityOversee budgetary control systems, ensuring accurate and timely feedback to cost centre managersLead the design and delivery of financial performance reporting across all divisions, including Board and Executive reportingDevelop tools and frameworks to support program planning, resource allocation, and performance triggersDrive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilitiesAbout You:Experience at working at a strategic level, able to recognise direction and implications of policyExperience in health, government, or not-for-profit sectors desirableMinimum 7–10 years in FP&A or corporate finance, with senior leadership experienceAdvanced skills in ERP systems, BI tools, and financial modellingExperience with Microsoft D365 Business Central and Magiq, Power BI)Experience at working at a strategic level, able to recognise direction and implications of policyWhat you need:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fieldCPA, CA, CFA or equivalent requiredTo access a detailed position description, please click Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.Or for more information on Careers at Forensicare, visit Note - Applications will be reviewed and interviewed as they are received.
