Finance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance and Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis for a 12-month fixed term contract.

About the Role:
  • Support the Head of FP&A in coordinating financial planning processes across brands and functions, including the three-year strategic plan, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Assist in the bottom-up build of detailed budgets and forecast, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Review detailed expenditure by cost centre during month-end close and collaborate with wider Finance team to ensure accurate accruals.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports with variance analysis and commentary, comparing actual performance to budget and forecast.
  • Manage end-to-end Head Office employment budgeting, forecasting, and reporting and collaborate with payroll team to ensure correct allocation.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities through in-depth analysis and deliver insights to guide decision-making.
  • Contribute to business case development and support ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Provide financial guidance to cost centre owners and support them in understanding and managing their budgets.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience as a Finance Analyst in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate financial insights clearly.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with PowerBI or any other equivalent BI tools is a plus.
