**About the role**:
As Technical Manager, you are responsible for supporting the organisations Infrastructure Technology Planning Function within the Technology Strategy, Architecture and Planning team.

**The core objectives of the Technology Planning function is to**:

- Improve visibility of demand on technology resources by proactively engaging with projects to identify technology-enabled work packages
- Provide projects with a clear view on the capability and cost of resources to deliver against technology-enabled work packages

**Roles and responsibilities include**:
- Liaise with Technical team and Project Managers to understand the technology-related work packages required to support program and project delivery
- Facilitate Tiger Team workshops with technical specialists to define work package scope against project needs
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for work packages, outlining the resource requirement, indicative cost, quality, priority, timeframes, and risks
- Coordinate resourcing to support demand planning for successful technology related work package delivery
- Track and map the progress of technology work packages against a master plan
- Identify synergies to optimise delivery of work packages and WBS elements
- Effectively manage conflicts, change requests, priorities, risks and issues across technology work packages
- Develop, maintain, and own the overall technology resourcing plans (short term and long term)
