Advance your career with ongoing training and development opportunities.We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Head Chefs / Sous Chefs / Chefsto join the group across multiple locations as the Waymark portfolio grows.This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Chef to escape the high cost of city living and work for a growing hospitality group.The Role:As a Chef, your daily responsibilities will include:Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venuesEnsuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely mannerUtilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menuPracticing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation proceduresAssisting with menu changes when requiredSuccessful Candidate:To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:Previous experience within a fastpaced commercial kitchenAvailability to work any hospitality hoursAbility to work well under a high pressure environmentBrilliant communication skills to all team membersCertificate III in Commercial Cookery preferredbut not essentialBenefits:The successful candidate will be provided with the following:Full-time position with a competitive salary aligned with your skills and experienceTemporary accommodation or discounted accommodation to aid in relocationSupportive kitchen team environmentDaily on-shift mealsAbout us:At Waymark Hotels Group we work to enrich the vibrant regional communities that we call home.
