Join our Retail team in Eastern Creek, NSW, with an exciting opportunity available for a Transport Allocator.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for allocating, route planning, and dispatching metro deliveries for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains-playing a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
We're currently recruiting for a PM Allocator on a permanent full-time contract, working a rotating 3-day on, 2-day off, 2-day on, 3-day off roster, with shifts running from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM.Key areas:Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships.Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them.Always Commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements, including daily compliance tasks such as yard inspections, speed and fatigue audits, and load restraint checks.We're looking for motivated individuals interested in transport operations, including scheduling and allocation.
Full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
You can demonstrate:Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded, but not essential - a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.Intermediate to advanced computer skills - experience with TMS is highly regardedStrong geographical knowledge of Sydney metroAbility to work in a high-pressure environment, remaining organised and efficientExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat's in it for me?
