**About ATCO's Blue Flame Kitchen Schools Program**

ATCO's Blue Flame Kitchen Schools Program provides a fun, educational and free excursion to Perth-based primary schools. We welcome year 5 students into our purpose-built commercial kitchen to learn important life skills, such as knife and kitchen safety, while preparing and cooking morning tea and lunch. During the excursion, students also visit our gas safety workshop and hydrogen home where they learn about the WA natural gas network and the future of energy from our experienced Training team.

The program reinforces traditional learning objectives that align with the WA Department of Education's curriculum by:

- Encouraging students to broaden their knowledge of healthy food choices.
- Incorporating maths skills, such as measuring, calculating and portioning.
- Integrating reading comprehension for following recipes and instructions.

**About the role**

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Delivering an entertaining, engaging and educational class, in line with set menus and guidelines and supported by an ATCO facilitator.
- Class set up and pack down, include food preparation.
- Grocery shopping in line with designated food menu.
- Following all food health and safety regulations.

**What we are looking for**
- A friendly personality with a passion for educating children about the importance of healthy and sustainable eating.
- A Food Safety Supervisor certificate (SITSS00069).
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and hygiene standards in accordance with relevant codes, standards, Laws or other local government or authority requirements;
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Western Australia police clearance check, or willingness to obtain.
